Cedarvale Children’s Community Garden

Come one, come all!

On Wednesday, May 11 from 6-8pm we will begin our 10th year in the garden. We need lots of big hands and little ones too to help us ready the garden for seedlings and seeds, and many more for wheedling weeds!

 Come with your gloves, your smiles, and good humour.

To register for this free program, please email crodger@sympatico.ca with your name, your child/ren/’s name/s, your family telephone number, and your family email address. We will send an email as confirmation of registration.

Stuck in the Muck

This was a hilarious fiasco of good off-road fun gone wrong in Cedarvale Ravine. When Police arrived the next day to investigate, they brilliantly tried to drive in – got stuck and blew their transmission trying to use the gas pedal to get out of the situation. HaHaHa.Then the tow truck got stuck.Then 3 tow trucks got stuck. If you have other pictures of this hilarious comedy we’d love to hear from you.

Chocolate Snowmen and Tobogganing

As hard as it is to look outside at the super windy spring-like weather and imagine snow, there it is just two weeks ago.Cedarvale, Tobogganing, Chopik

Celebrate winter with hot chocolate and tobogganing (Climate Change Permitting – ha, ha, ha).
This will be an outdoor event, so please come dressed appropriately.
Bring your best toboggan. Starting at 2pm Wrap at 6pm.
